The station was abandoned soon after, left to decay on the edge of town.

Of course! Here’s another eerie story for you:

The Last Broadcast

The radio station had been off the air for years.

WZXR 103.6 used to be the heart of the town—late-night talk shows, classic rock, even a morning news segment. But one night, without warning, the station went silent. No farewell message, no sign-off. Just static.

Rumors spread. Some said the last DJ, a man named Carter Reeves, had gone insane on air. Others swore they heard something buried in the static—whispers, screams, something wrong. The station was abandoned soon after, left to decay on the edge of town.

Until last night.

At exactly 12:03 AM, WZXR came back.

No DJs. No music. Just a single voice.

Can anyone hear me?

The broadcast lasted six minutes and forty-seven seconds before cutting back to static.

I know this because I recorded it.

At first, I thought it was a prank. Some bored teenager messing with an old transmitter. But when I played the recording back, I heard something I hadn’t noticed before.

Something breathing.

And then, underneath the static, a whisper:

“He’s still here.”

My blood went cold.

I checked online, searching for anyone else who had heard the signal. There was nothing. No forum posts, no social media buzz. As if I had imagined it.

Then my radio turned on by itself.

The dial moved on its own, slowly tuning back to 103.6.

A voice—cracked, desperate—spoke through the static.

“Please… don’t let him find me.”

Then silence.

And behind me, from the darkness of my apartment, I heard a soft click.

Like an old radio turning on.

What do you think? Want another, or do you have a different kind of story in mind? 😈
